Lake Prespa: A journey of natural discovery

Experience our most adventurous excursion to Pelican Island. This tour takes you straight through untouched wilderness. We start with a scenic drive across Galičica National Park, where you can soak in breathtaking panoramic views over both Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa. It’s the perfect start to a day packed with adventure!

Stenje: Rustic village life & coffee break

We first make a short coffee stop in the charming fishing village of Stenje. Here, you'll get a real taste of peaceful, authentic Macedonian village life. Afterwards, we follow an adventurous trail leading to the village of Konjsko, where we board our boat to Golem Grad—better known as Pelican Island.

Golem Grad: The mysterious Pelican Island

Pelican Island is a completely uninhabited island situated in Lake Prespa. It is famous for its pelican colonies, tortoises, and ancient ruins. Upon arrival, we climb onto the island, so please make sure to wear sturdy walking shoes to explore comfortably and safely.

During the walk, we'll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by nature. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to snap incredible photos and take in the island's unique atmosphere. In short: a one-of-a-kind day for genuine nature lovers!
