We start the day in Pestani (700 m) and start hiking along the national park Galicica towards Elsani (ca. 876 m). In this village, we visit a local family and we drink a coffee at there home in the garden with a beautiful view. After the coffee we continue walking thru some local vineyards and we arrive in the village of Gorno Konjsko approx. (1087 m), Gorno Kojnsko was a flourishing village until 1960 but has been abandoned since, which leaves an interesting scene of empty and disintegrating houses. After walking thru the ruine’s of this once vibrant place we start decending towards the Lake Ohrid,on the way we have beautiful panoramas to both the Lake and the city of Ohrid which starts appearing in the distance. When we arrive at the lake a driver picks us up and brings you back to your accommodation.The hike is 12km in total.
